You'll also learn how to draw people and props in proportion to your backdrop.

January 28th, 2010 - Manga University's all-new original manga StepMania: The Manga, makes its debut today! Made in consultation with the StepMania game's creator, Chris Danford, and written by up-and-coming Japanese manga artist Uno Shino, StepMania: The Manga follows the exploits of a brash high-schooler named Yukino as she is thrown headfirst into the world of StepMania by her best friend and veteran dancer, Momo, who works at the local arcade.The first issue goes live today with more to come every Monday and Thursday! Limited Edition Professional Japanese Basketball Trading Cards Now Available for Pre-Order from MU!

Manga University has been creating trading cards for the BJ-League (Japan's professional basketball association) since their first All-Star Game in 2006. This time we’ve pulled out all the stops to create a gorgeous set of 21 full-color cards. The drawings are a striking mixture of traditional American sports caricature and Japanese action manga that are sure to appeal to sports and comic fans alike.
Our BJ-League All-Star Trading Cards are produced in extremely small numbers and are a rare collectible among Japanese basketball fanatics, but this year we’ve secured a few dozen sets to sell worldwide!

MU Wishes You A Happy New Year! (UPDATED x2)
January 1st, 2010 - Join us as we ring in 2010 with the "Manga University New Year's Shishimai Marathon," which is being performed live and round-the-clock from our Tokyo campus.UPDATE: The marathon is now in its 12th hour, and our dancing shishi is still goin' strong! November 10th 2009 - Get out your chopsticks and soy sauce, because Manga University's new video series "The Manga University Cooking Show" is all about whipping up delicious Japanese dishes just as they appear in your favorite manga.
Our first foray into the frying pan stars Yoko Ishihara, the genius chef behind The Manga Cookbook. Ishihara-sensei will teach you how to make teriyaki sauce from scratch, and how to use it to cook your very own yakitori chicken kebabs!
