What is MUIJAC's Manga Class
Manga University has offered an acclaimed home study course for the past 15 years. And now, you can take drawing classes with us in person, right here in Japan! Our new Manga University Institute of Japanese Art and Culture (MUIJAC) offers workshops, demonstrations, and fully customizable classes for groups and individuals at our Tokyo-area facility.
Even better, you don’t need to know Japanese. Our instructors are experienced, published artists who are comfortable speaking English, and are eager to share their techniques and answer your questions in your own language.

・Each session is 1 hour 45 minutes.

・Items NOT provided at our facility: manga paper, screentone and marker pen.
How to apply
1. Fill in the online application form by clicking below.
(Application must be submitted at least 48 hours before intended class.)
2. We'll send you a confirmation email and instructions for making a deposit.
3. Once you've made your deposit, we'll email you a second confirmation.
4. Visit our facility the day of your lesson and pay the remainder of the fee.
5. Enjoy the class!
