Chihiro Hattori is a renowned manga artist who has won critical acclaim for her work on the popular "Kanji de Manga" series of books. She works in a variety of manga styles, and is currently helping develop several highly anticipated publishing projects for Manga University.

This Manga University home-study course is designed for any and all students who desire feedback from a professional manga artist. No previous art or art-school experience is required. There is also no age restriction. Hattori-sensei enjoys working with aspiring artists of all ages and skill levels.

Once a week for four weeks, students will receive a multipage, printable PDF (via email) featuring a lesson plan developed Manga University staff that will follow chapters in "How to Draw Manga: Getting Started" and teach the basics of character design.

Students must have the following to participate in this course:

The ability to scan and send their images to us via email

A desire to draw manga and have fun!

We will send you your copy of "Getting Started" as soon as you pay the enrollment fee, and your lessons will start approximately one week later (allowing time for delivery of the book to you).

Please note that the Home-Study Course enrollment fee is nonrefundable. Also, the course is designed for students who have never taken a Manga University course before.
