About the Authors
Edo Kurosawa was born on the islands of southern Japan, where deadly snakes stalk the sugar cane fields and unspoiled beaches are never more than five minutes away. He was educated in the United States, where he vowed to become a bridge between the two cultures that earned his love and respect.

Atsuhisa Okura is a Tokyo native whose manga stories have appeared in Business Jump and Shonen Magazine, among others. He is a past receipient of the prestigious Kodansha and Shueisha prizes for best new manga artist, and he was also the illustrator of the award-wining article "Manga Conquers America" for WIRED magazine.
