Dobutsu no Mori (literally "Animal Forest," but renamed "Animal Crossing" in English) was a popular Nintendo 64 and GameCube game in the early 2000s.
Nintendo built an entire franchise around the title, including a feature-length animated film, in which the Manga University Daibutsu had a brief cameo.
